”SAILORS' TREAT” 企画始動にむけて。

現在、葉山町で取り組んでいる”SAILORS’ TREAT”という企画に、英国セーリングチームのサポートメンバーの一人として某TV局のニュース取材に協力させていただきました。



”SAILORS’ TREAT”とは、葉山の飲食店さんにご協力をいただき、「食の力で東京オリパラと葉山を盛り上げていこう」、といった企画です。



葉山町はオリンピックイヤーに向けて2017年より、英国セーリングチームをホストタウンとして受け入れサポートしてきました。現段階では東京オリンピックパラリンピックがどうなるか先行き不透明ですが、「東京オリンピックの葉山町のホストタウンとしての歴史」は何らかの形で残せていけたら、とそんな思いで現在関わらせていただいています。



実は昨年、英国セーリングチームのサポートメンバーは有志で「日英セーリングチーム応援プロジェクト」を立ち上げ、東京オリパラ開催に向けた機運の醸成を目的に、食の力で東京オリパラ・葉山町を盛り上げていこうと企画していました。コロナ禍により一旦見送りになってしまいましたが、サポートメンバーで温めていたこの企画が現在は町の主催により広がり始めています。今後の未来へつないでいく1つのレガシー作りとして、今後も活動に協力できればと思っています。



ポジティブに、今後も変わらず、日本ヨット発祥の地である葉山町と、一町民として全てのセイラーを応援したいと思います。

Partially joined a shooting for a TV news program for the project called "SAILORS’ TREAT" that I am currently cooperating for Hayama Town, as one of the support members of the British Sailing Team.



"SAILORS’ TREAT” is a project by Hayama Town which is planning to liven up Tokyo Olympics 2020 and Hayama Town with the power of food with the cooperation of restaurants and cafes in Hayama. 



Hayama Town has been accepting and supporting British Sailing Team as a host town since 2017 for the Tokyo Olympics. At this stage, the future of the Tokyo Olympics is uncertain but I am currently involved with the idea the history of Hayama Town as a host town for the Tokyo Olympics can be preserved in some way.



In fact last year, the support members of the British Sailing Team volunteered to launch the "Japanese-British Sailing Team Support Project", and planning the Tokyo Olympics and Hayama Town with the power of food with the aim of fostering momentum. Although it was once put off due to the corona pandemic, this project, which was warmed up by the support members, is now beginning to spread by the support of Hayama Town. I would like to continue to cooperate in the activities as a legacy that will lead to the future.



Positively I continue to support Hayama Town - the Birthplace of Sailing in Japan, and all the sailors as one of the citizen.
